Sorry, CD, could see no reason to have the name of the venue displayed in upper case (unless there was something you wanted to shout about???), so have edited accordingly.

The temptation to invite someone to this thread, but I'll be good...
Indy, the name is a little unfortunate, I agree, but just for the record, "prat" is the Catalan equivalent of the Castillian word prado, which means "meadow". The Llobregat is the second longest river in Catalonia, rising in the eastern Pyrenees & entering the Med just south of Barcelona, the "meadow" bit presumably deriving from the fact that it irrigated its delta. Barcelona airport takes its name from the nearby town... Other than that, I understand the temptation!
Very educational, SC - I knew what Prat meant in this context and the Barcelona airport bit but not the rest of it. Not that it would stop me from making a disgraceful pun of it if the opportunity arose, but still!
CD - if you are logged on, bold thread titles denote threads that have new posts since you last looked at them (so are usually near the top of the list), non-bold threads mean nothing new since you last looked.

Ah! That's what he (she?) meant! If I'd realised, I'd've replied earlier...

Well, did you ever --- I thought it was just one of life's little random oddities . . .
Thank you for that - I'm off to look down the lists again

If he has managed to qualify for a Futures singles main draw for the first time, we probably owe it to him to get his name right (or is this just an excuse to extend the thread a bit more ... )
L32: (WC) Aswin Lizen UNR v (4) Roberto Carballés Baena (ESP) WR 252 (CH 230 in Aug)
P.S. Just noticed it only went wrong between Q2 and the FQR.
