Scott's draw looks like it could be a tasty one.

But thanks, Bob, makes much more sense now.

OK. Did the same myself earlier and thought I would check hm out. When I went to the ATP rankings it defaulted to the doubles ranking and it took me a while to realise what had happened.

 I've fallen for that before ! and now a second time .. . shucks, sorry . . .

Black mark for CD for falling for the same trick twice. thumbsdown.gif

Gold Star for CD for having the courage to admit it. thumbsup.gif

And as for my thoughts on the ATP for their system censored.gif

I thought seeding was based on the rankings from the previous Monday, with seeds only named from ranked players.

So I don't understand an unranked q11 ??

Ovil is ranked 1917 at the moment, down from a CH of 1600 in June this year.

Have you been on the ATP site looking at those doubles rankings again wink

Defaulting to the doubles ranking when a player is unranked in doubles but ranked in singles must be the ATP site hitting a new low confuse

Given that the link that DWH found for us last week says Akko and Ramat Hasharon 2013, I am hopeful that the same link will work for this week.

Dangerously dips toe in the water a second (third and counting ?) time . . .

but, whatever, it's all good news so far from Israel:

FQR : (q3) Evan Hoyt WR 1379 def. Edan Leshem (ISR) UNR age 16 3-6 6-2 6-1
(q5) Scott Clayton WR 1453 def. (q11) Orel Ovil (ISR) 1917 age 16 6-4 6-3
