Will be happy if one of the four get through, all tough draws.

Well, they made it look pretty hard (which obviously it was!) but they all won, which is the essential, I guess.

I agree with paulisi that one getting through is about a fair prediction, but not because it's a tough draw (only Tommy has a truly tough draw) but simply because all three of them are having a tough time of things and so 'over-ranked' in terms of their recent form.

However, often you only do what you need to do to get through - so they may well up the ante in the next round when they need to.

Some very unconvincing scorelines from Josh and Ed.

Not surprised though really. Watched Josh for the first time last week and I can't believe no one has yet told him that the rule about keeping your feet on the ground whilst serving was abolished long ago! Can't see him seriously getting anywhere in the game with a serve like that unfortunately. If he wants to make a real career of this game, he will have to completely overhaul his serve as it will hold him back in a big way if he ever wants to jump to Challenger level.

That said, he does have some very nice stylish shots at times, so it would be a shame if his serve were to halt his career like it obviously will if it doesn't improve drastically. Not sure I've ever seen a top 500 player serve in that manner before. Quite amazing he's so highly ranked tbh, says a lot for the rest of his game for sure.

Long game on Zverev's serve but Ed eventually breaks through 4-3 third set.

Come on Ed hold the advantage.

Edit: Which he does, coming back from 0-40 with 5 points in a row. 5-3

I wonder if Tommy Bennett can wave his racket like a magic wand and comes up with a bit of tennis wizardry today in his attempt to defeat Hochwalts

Ed is really having a bad second half of the season and his ranking could crash very quickly as he has loads of points to defend in the new year.

lost first set 6-2 and is already a break down in the second set.

Not for long though as he bounces back to lead *3-1 in the 2nd
