Lucy Brown should be in the main draw here.

QR1: Ines Janbakhsh UNR v Julia Klackenberg (SWE) UNR (CH 1008 in 2009)
QR1: Kyria Dunford UNR v Konstantina Tsekoura (GRE) UNR

Tsekoura looks to be making her pro circuit debut. From a Greek site, she was born in 1998, so must be 14 or 15. The top seed in this section is ranked outside the top 1000, while the top seed in Ines's section is ranked 873.

H2H 0-1, 3 sets at a junior event in Tunisia in 2010. Kushkova won last week's Marathon 10K, so the tough R1 draws this week continue ...

Especially tough as the rankings are so close and Lucy just missed out on a seeding. Not suprised at Kyria's result, she keeps losing very heavily to the other GB girls so will need a lot of improvement to jump on the rankings ladder.

Lucy lost the first set 6-4. Now 5*-6 ahead. As both girls have had 11 BPs, this would be a nice time to have, and convert, another one.

This looks like quite a match! When I looked at the scores, Lucy had just broken in the 11th game of the decider (they have both broken serve 8 times) and had a match point on her own serve. That was saved though, as was a further match point and a break point. Kushkhova now has another break point ... also saved. Come on Lucy!

Lucy went an early mini-break down but clawed her way back to 4-4 and has now gone a mini-break up *5-4 ... *6-4 more match points ... yes!!
