Oh dear. You go all the way to Burundi, are looking at a draw where the 8th seed is ranked 1041 ... and wind up getting Gerald Melzer in the second round (which, as noted above, is the first round in which the latter is playing). Not quite what one might have desired, were one Mr Allemby.

Well, not wanting to rain on Mr. Allemby's parade, but he's got to get through the first round first !
James has been playing a lot of money tournaments in France this summer, and having a pretty miserable time. I reckon if he makes it through to meet Mr. Melzer, he'll be well chuffed.
Mind you, maybe Mr. Moritani is not in the best form of his life either . . . .
