I remember, in days of relatively recent past, packed 64/128 qualifying draws in Spain. What has happened?

I don't recall there being any 128 man qualifying draws in Spain this year but most Spanish futures this year have been 64 man qualifying draws and they are normally full. This was only ever supposed to be a 32 man qualifying draw so probably attracted fewer entries for that reason.
