Dan S. was a comfortable break up, going nicely.

And suddenly Maxime Forcin has won several games on the trot and will be serving for the set.

If Maxime Forcin starts forcing to the maximum, Dan's in for a spot of bother . . .

Dan now two breaks down in the second set. 1-4*

Just looked up Forcin (never heard of him) and, Daniel, what are you doing ???? In true French style, he's played tons of matches and is very consistent, winning practically all those up to and including his own ranking (pre-national, -30) BUT hasn't beaten anyone better ranked and has a really pretty poor ITF Pro record this year. Maybe just one of those days . . .

Dan's result seems very odd. With new rankings (mainly for R2, otherwise there's a good chance I'll assume that since the results were posted on Monday, they were new rankings and use them on Twitter!)

Dan is very inconsistent and i cannot see him getting any higher than 350 in the rankings. He's either very decent or very poor. Last time i saw him was in the Wirral final and he was poor.

Very frustrating to follow...

Barbosa seems to have woken up in time for the 2nd set - he has already won as many points as he did in the 1st and they're only halfway through the fourth game.
