Ultimately the set was quite close and in some ways fortunate that Jo was serving pretty well.

Si I disagee that Jo was "far better". She was quite good at missing badly and that counts.

I think what folk more mean is that they approve much more of her intentions ( as I do ), but as long as she isn't carrying them out consistently successfully she is NOT far better. Points win prizes !

Finally, Sharon plays a decent game.

And I've counted three winning net points for Jo this set - the smash, the volley after the cute drop shot and the last one.

Still expecting a wobble though and for Sharon to up the ante slightly . . .
