Here's hoping Jamie & JP can see off the second seeds as easily as Jamie D & Facudo Bagnis did in Gstaad last week, when they (B&P) were the top seeds.

The boys were 0-6 in the MTB at one point... disbelief  Seems they really are starting to gel as a pairing.

I saw that and when I looked again the match had gone.  Presumed they 'had fallen off their perch' !!  Delighted they turned it around.  But for them to lose the 2nd set to love and lose the 1st 6 points in the MTB you do wonder if someone was injured or something ?

That must have been a crazy match!

Poor old Bracciali & Polasek though - 1st & 2nd seeds the last 2 weeks & upset by pairs including a Brit in R1 each time ... & on red clay too. The ignominy of it all wink

QF:  Jamie Murray & John Peers (AUS) CR 106 defeated Robin Haase & Raven Klaasen (NED/RSA) CR 118 by 1 & 3 smile

*****

SF:  (4) Martin Emmrich & Christopher Kas (GER/GER) CR 106 Jamie Murray & John Peers (AUS) CR 106

So, the Germans may be the fourth seeds, but it's even stevens in the ranking stakes.

They appear to have given it a bit of a go, though, as the Germans served for the match at 5-4.

Peers is playing the San Marino challenger with his compatriot Paul Hanley.

Hopefully this is just a case of Jamie wanting a week off while John wants to play, possibly because he is defending 100 points from winning Aptos last year.
