L32: Danielle Konotoptseva WR 865 v (2) Rishika Sunkara (IND) WR 538 (CH 471 in May)

Last week's runner-up plays this week's 2nd seed, who reached the semis at a 10K in New Delhi last week before getting thrashed 0 & 3 by an unranked 18-year-old, who I think will be ranked next Monday. This is Sunkara's first ITF outside India since last October.

The runners up from the last two weeks here meet in R2:

L16: Danielle Konotoptseva WR 865 v (WC) Pauline Payet (FRA) WR 913 (CH 773 last Dec)

H2H 0-1 - Payet won 3 & 1 in the QFs here two weeks ago. She didn't play last week for some reason and seems likely to provide a tougher test than the no. 2 seed this week.

dasha has really picked up I did see her in Edinburgh playing Anna S and gave a good account of herself first set
