Goodall, Pauffley, Cox, Willis, Gabb, Farquharson, Ward-Hibbert, Broady, Coupland, Orton, Ireland, Hudson, O'Mara and Aswat should all be in the main draw. Probable wild cards for Malik, Goodman and Salisbury, possibly also Carter who wasn't on the acceptance list

Qualifying draw has just 7 ranked players including 5 Brits so a decent chance of at least 6 British qualifiers. PDF not yet available but Qualifying draw is on the ITF site

I see that Josh Goodall has withdrawn from the Turkish challenger next week and the Dublin futures the week after. Looks like this might well be his final tournament, which given that he has won it for the last 3 years seems rather apt.

Josh stated that he would carry on until he secured a future income. So i wonder if something has come about already(coaching role at the LTA?)

 That's what I was wondering too (if he'd found a job, that is).

 

Although, he also said he'd have to qualify as a coach first and I can't believe that the LTA would take him on in a coaching role until he had qualified (it's not the same as being able to play). But maybe the qualification course  is being run in the next couple of months, over summer, (absolutely no idea, just guessing . . . ). Otherwise, it could be a private job, of course . . .

Perhaps, but I can't see that going to Dublin costs much more than going to Ilkley.

 Some very interesting matches - Broady v Tom F is the stand out. I think Jonny O'Mara v Neil P will be very close. Interesting to see how Robin Goodman gets on after last week's big win.

Josh v JWH in 2nd round could be interesting if they both make it.

Can we have another week like last week when GB players take most of the points? 7 out of 8 seeds and Benneteau hasn't played on grass for at least 12 months and may be vulnerable. Definitely on.
