Why don't they install some high fencing at the end of the court to shut out some of the traffic noise and to hide all the vehicles going past? It must be very distracting for both players and spectators.

Johanna's radar is always a bit variable.

Pliskova breaks and consolidates, no straightforward victory again it seems, but that's as I'd have suspected before hand.

Ms Konta comes across as a lovely person and is a fine player ... may she have a long and successful top-100 career! But please, Ms Konta, for the sake of your fans (if not for your own well-being), the occasional straightforward straight sets match would be a boon.

Pliskova not really doing much, just keeping the ball in play and letting Johanna's inconsistency do the work at the moment.
Crowd gone very flat. Lively up yerselves.

I'm switching off the stream now.

I just can't watch all these UEs for no apparent reason (when not even going for forcing shots). I hope Jo wins. Pliskova just smacking down a few big serves, and other wise keeping the ball in play with no power, but no risk. Nothing more.
