I'll be there!! touchtennis is amazing fun if anyone hasn't tried it... your ability doesn't really matter as the rules and regulations make it such a leveller! think tomorrow night is open to everyone if anyone wants to turn up and play!

Chris is featured on this video about touchtennis http://www.bloomberg.com/video/touch-tennis-downsizing-the-game-to-expand-it-KRgy5cE7S9CS3AVxHeU7jg.html - he says near the end that as far as normal tennis is concerned, he is coaching these days and not intending to go back on tour, as most of us had probably guessed by now. Quite an interesting video anyway.

It is really remarkable and a fantastic achievement for all that Rashid Ahmad has achieved with touchtennis. From his back garden he has now created a world tour, with world rankings and Sky Sports are now filming some of his masters events. Giving it a larger potential audience than every format of tennis in this country barring ATP Tour events.

Just seen this and it does look like this is quite a growing thing. When I was young, my brother and I played this and called it Sponge Ball, but it was the same sport played in our back garden with a string for net.

It looks like one or two of the events have got some decent prizemoney (Weybridge has 10k ) http://www.touchtennis.com/gb/events.php

is it Rashid's own money that he is putting up or are some sponsors coming in? I havent seen it on Skysports ( I dont have Sky) but found this video on you tube - quality of play looks good!
