Data I post, opinions I offer, 'facts' I assert, are almost certainly all stupidly wrong.
I think Mel and Anna F will be the next to go almost exclusively into doubles a la Nicola Slater. I think if they found the right partners, they could have Sarah Borwell esque careers and have a good few years on the main tour as both are still relatively young, Anna especially.
Playing in Asia ... Liang has been ranked in the low 300s & low 400s since 2011 and has won a title here in the past (albeit at 10K level) and had just thrashed the player who beat Samantha last week ... Samantha's up and down form ... taking all that together, I thought it would be close (if not quite that close!)
