Anna's match has just started on live score, good to see her in international action again having had good success on the British Tour.
Anna: *1-1

not sure if anyone would be particularly interested, but Anna is now studying (not sure what or how much she actually attends) at the east of london university and is on the shortlist for the forthcoming World University Games (student olympics) this summer in Kazan, Russia where GBR will have 3 male and 3 female representatives

Much closer in the second set, and Anna managed to break the Turkish serve, but the second seed proved too strong today.

Is Ana not the player Anna used to tour with back in the day or amI confusing her with someone else?

Excellent memory!

They played 18 doubles events together in 2007 making three finals (1 $25k, 2 $10k), and including the title in the $10K in Calgary.
Then in 2008 they played 4 times together at the start of the year, including back to back $25K titles in Clearwater & Fort Walton Beach.

That last title was their last event together, and they hadn't played again together until this week!

She alluded to this on Twitter - in fact, they are now on an 8-match winning streak together (ignoring 2 W/Os for and 1 against) across that gap of more than 5 years. The last team to best them were Sharon Fichman & Katie O'Brien at Midland 75K in February 2008.
