QR1: Darren Walsh WR 1671 v Timur Goryunov (UZB) UNR

A ridiculously weak qualifying draw for a Challenger (apart from a late entrant top seed) - Darren plays one of quite a few players on the draw who have never even played Futures qualifying before as far as I can tell and the two seeded players in his section are ranked 467 and 556 - the last two Q seeds are ranked outside the top 1200!

I imagine Darren's appearance in the singles qualies means that he & Adham, who unfortunately faces the q5, Alexander Kudryavtsev (whose doubles partner, Mikhail Elgin, is the q7!), will feature in the doubles.  If so, I sincerely hope they have a better draw than they did this week. pray:

Will be interesting to see how Walsh does against the 2nd seed with his serve

R1:  (WC) Sarvar Ikramov & Vaja Uzakov (UZB/UZB) WR 1831 vs Adham El-Effendi (USA) & Darren Walsh WR 646

The top seeds are James Cerretani & Adil Shamasdin & the boys are in their half of the draw.
