I should think finding a bookie who will offer decent odds on the American might indeed be 'Kinard.

Puns aside, this American in the last year has lost to both Harriet Dart and Eden Silva. So whilst I'm expecting (like everyone else it would seem) a frustrating and predictable loss from Sabrina in straight sets (a player who has been comfortably inside the top 20 female tennis players in Great Britain for some time now, and ranked in the 800s worldwide), maybe today's the day

I too respect her effort and commitment (and everybody loves the underdog).
But I do wonder if it serves much purpose simply doing more of the same. Hence, maybe a new coach ? Maybe a training camp ?
Why doesn't she maybe quit the ITF circuit and go and spend the summer playing a whole heap of domestic tournaments in one of the nice warm countries ?
I quote France again simply because I know it but there are constant tournaments throughout the summer months where the winner gets about 400 euros (less in the smaller ones, a fair bit more in some of the bigger ones). Accomodation is usually provided (not always but usually). The tournaments are open to all, the level goes up to pre-national level although quite often there will be some national level players playing, either because it's their home town, it's part of their holiday tennis, or for exactly the reason that Sabrina might - to get some confidence back, earn a little money, enjoy yourself without ITF points pressure, or whatever. Our local club even once, exceptionally, had the WR 190 woman (a Russian) playing in our summer tournament (my son umpired her because she didn't speak any French and he was the only one who spoke English) - she was just trying to get some experience on clay and string together a heap of matches.
