  Darren & Adham have snuck into the draw here as alternates, replacing Gaba & Rosol:

R1:  (ALT) Adham El-Effendi (USA) & Darren Walsh WR 679 vs (WC) Adam Pavlasek & Jiri Vesely (CZE/CZE) WR 839

Good chance to bag a few points - if they can get past the Czech tyros!   Unfortunately, they lost the first set by 0-6.  Currently *3-4 in the second...

With a bit of luck they've finally got the youngsters' measure:  second set goes to a tie-break, which they capture by 7-5.  Squeaky-bum time! :pray

Given the drubbing that Messrs Vesely and Pavlasek handed to the second seeds, the scoreline for their match w/ Messrs Walsh and El-Effendi looks not bad at all.
