There are some enticing qualifying spots in the main draw.

(2) Ruben Bemelmans (BEL) WR 139
Dino Marcan (CRO) WR 409
(WC) Lu Cheng Li (CHN) WR 1924 - Probably top seed - Edben in R2

James has got probably the best of the qualifier spots too

L32: (Q) James Ward WR 213 v (WC) Wang Chuhan (CHN) WR 757 (CH 676 in 2011)

Wang got beaten 2 & 4 by Alex Ward in November and then thrashed 0 & 1 by him the following month. He has also lost to Fitzy, Josh Milton & Dan Cox in straight sets.
