Riske hit a career high of 104 in 2011 and reached the semi-finals of the 50K even in Dothan last week.

Nice comeback. Next up for Miss Slater is a team that beat the #2 seeds - in fact both seeds in Nicola's half of the draw fell at the first hurdle.

Bally just lost the last 8 points straight to lose the set, from a winnable position. 1st serve very good, but you worry now that the same will happen as in her previous 2 comeback matches.

Even more worried given they have been on court well over 2 hrs.

I'd be more than Happy if Elena picks up 3 games in the final set - building up match fitness....

I suppose the main thing for Bally is that she's match fit for the grass court season, any wins between now and then will be a bonus.
