But so far, so good:  first set in the bag by 6-3.   

It was a good day for Lucas:  he also defeated Andreas Seppi, the third seed, by 6-1 3-6 6-3 in one of the first singles matches of the day.

Not looking too promising:  they went a break down early in the second set, then recovered it, only to be broken again in the very next game!  2-3*
