Bally has just tweeted that she is in main draw at Roland Garros.

 

 Is that protected ranking or wildcard?

I was wondering if she had been awarded a wild card due to this excited tweet, as her protected ranking would be high enough for direct entrance would it not? That couldn't have come as a surprise to her surely?

It would be great if she has been awarded a wildcard as she could then use her protected ranking for the US open.

According to Spiceboy on Tennisforum (who seems to have access to the various entry lists), Elena is using her Special Ranking (Protected Ranking 103). Entry list is just out so I think that explains Elena's tweet.
