The guys are certainly out in force for Week 11 with entries from 22 of the top 25 men ( counting Andy at IW and Burton, Carpenter and Hewitt, all currently alternates for Bath ). Good to see Slabba down for this week and the previous one.

The missing 3 are Burn ( down for the preceding two GB future weeks ), Phillips ( retired ) and...

...Evo, not played or down for anything since the Sheffield future in Week 5 ??

Good point about Mr Evans.....I'm not aware of an injury.......that's a 6 week break.

Anyone out there in the know?

Very succinct and to the point.

Kyle has withdrawn from this Croatian Futures. He is still entered in the previous week's tournament where he is already 13th ranked in the MD and rising, however would have been buried deep in a 128 man field qualifying event in the week 11 event. Strange how 2 Futures at the same level in the same country 1 week apart can have such wildly different quality of entrants.

Oli has now also withdrawn from the week 11 Croatian Futures event (looks like he's in Spain instead, which would mean a trip to Croatia for 1 Futures event, which is odd).

Ironically, both GB withdrawals coincided with the big withdrawal "rush" as players' plans firm up.....meaning that both would have actually made MD without difficulty......about 25 players ranked higher than Kyle withdrew early this week!

week 12 entries now starting to appear on the ITF site, though not complete when I looked. Still no sign of Mr Evans, which would mean a week 13 start at the earliest. iF Hoss is right, that's a very long holiday. Surely there must be more to this- he's the #6 ranked player in GB.

Main draw wild cards for Bath to Katy Dunne, Anna Brogan, Sabrina Bamburac and Naomi Broady. Naomi may get in directly though.

QD wild cards to Pippa Horn and Grace Dixon

I have nothing against Sabrina, but why would she be awarded a MDWC for this $15k having lost 3 and 0 to Laura Deigman, ranked in the 1000s in R1 of this weeks 10k, having also been awarded a WC there!?

Probably me being harsh. But if I were an up and coming player, I'd want to know what I needed to do to get a coveted WC, and at first glance, I'd have just received a rather mixed message!

Does seem rather strange, korriban.

Shame to see no one making the trip to a weak Sarajevo Qualifying
