QR1: (q22) Anne Keothavong WR 142 v Grace Min (USA) WR 178
2nd on Court 5 after 23.00 GMT, so probably around 00.30 GMT
The other seed in Anne's section is (q4) Tatjana Malek (GER) WR 115 (CH 64 in 2009), whom she beat in Ismaning in 2011, having lost to her 5 years earlier.
QR1: Johanna Konta WR 153 v Anastasija Sevastova (LAT) WR 179
1st on Court 14 at 23.00 GMT
Sevastova hit a career high of 36 after reaching R4 of the Australian Open two years ago (with Wickmayer her main scalp) - that was her best run at a slam. The seeds in JoKo's section are (q11) Birnerova and (q24) Bouchard.

Yeah I suppose she has a few American youngsters in her section but I still believe she can do if she plays well but I don't know with Anne she's pretty unpredictable!

Tough tough draw for JoKo in R1, Sevastova just qualified for Sydney last week including a win over Davis a QFist in Hobart this week, former top 50 player and only young so whatever the reason for her drop down the rankings she certainly looks that she's on her way back into the top 100 now. After that not too bad Bouchard is struggling at the moment.
Min could be tricky for Anne as well so lets just keep our fingers crossed.
Phil, it looks like she didn't play between oct 2011 (retired aganist Georges) until April last year, then spent a few months playing 25/50ks on clay. From that, it looks like an injury issue.

Thanks for that, she was a very promising young player. Her form last week suggests she is close to her best form which will be a big problem for Jo.
