Thought I'd post the above link to a US tennis blogger's site.
I think this guy means well, is very enthusiastic, and has an insiders take on many things. He made 35 predictions about the WTA in 2012 before the year began and 26 about the ATP.
3 Observations.
1. His predictions for both tours were spectacularly unsuccessful!! In fact, to his great credit, he does make fun of himself about it.
2. For the most part, however, some of these failures were because he was making some bold predictions - and in most cases it was about players who do have something about them, even if things didn't quite work out in 2012
3. He likes the Brits a lot, so God bless him! but he was getting woefully ahead of himself, which indicates he hasn't quite come to terms with how long it takes for junior boys to transition these days. In fact he'd predicted that Oli and Liam (and Luke Saville) would all make the top 150 in 2012!!!! Insane yes, his timing is way off, but his heart is in the right place.
I know we have our detailed ranking and Grand Slam predictions, but it might be fun to post our own "10 random predictions" for 2013, GB men and GB women. I'll have a quick go this afternoon.

My 10 random predictions for GB men in 2013. Lots of rose-tinted spectacles, I suspect. But fun anyway
1. Andy Murray WILL be a winner at Wimbledon and a finalist at the US Open, but will fall well short in Australia and France. He won't make #1, but will squeak into #2 position.
2. Josh Goodall will retire, possibly just after Wimbledon, after falling at the first hurdle again. Boggo will still be around, in and around the 300s ranking, primarily on the US Challenger scene, and won't qualify at Wimbledon, but he'll soldier on. No last hurrahs for Fitzy.
3. Jamie Baker will win his first Challenger early in the year, and James Ward will win 1 or 2 Challengers, closing in on the top 100 but not quite making it.
4. The 3 Dans will all finish the year ranked higher than 2012 - One of them will be inside 200.
5. Neil Pauffley WILL continue his rise and WILL finish inside the top 250......and wins a WC main draw match at Wimbledon (why am I doing this to myself?)
6. Oli will end the year outside the top 250. But he may break the top 250 at some point briefly, and will be higher ranked than at the end of 2012. We will all still be arguing about him being either a top 50 certainty, or a case of "what might have been"
7. One of Oli, Kyle or Liam (more likely the latter 2, but we'd all be happy with any victory) will win a Challenger event (probably in the UK). Bold that one!
8. Kyle will win at least 3 Futures events, and possibly a Challenger, and a main draw at Wimbledon, but no Junior Slams. Luke will end the year in the top 10 juniors. Liam will win at least 2 Futures.
9. Both Liam and Kyle end the year inside 450, Kyle possibly inside 350 (depending on Wimbledon).
10. Strongest 2 performers in terms of rise up the rankings from the lower part of/outside thetop 25 table. Ashley Hewitt & James Marsalek.
