L32: Josh Goodall WR 236 v Igor Kunitsyn (RUS) WR 167 (CH 35 in 2009)
H2H 0-2, but he has improved from a 1 & 1 loss in 2007 to a 6 & 2 loss in Nottingham earlier this year. Unfortunately, the winner is likely to play top seed Jarkko Nieminen (WR 47) in R2!

This looks like being Josh's last event of the year and he could really do with some points. As things stand he will end the year at around 255 in the world and that might not be enough to get him into the Aussie Open qualifiers.
Had a look at the stream from Josh 1-0* up second set. He's lost 5 games in a row since - barely a point on return (most serves unreturned). On serve (which hasn't been bad), once rally gets beyond 4 shots, no attacking play at all from Josh I'm afraid, which is disappointing when you're behind in the match. Looks a formality from here. Again, its less the loss than the style of play and fear of "going for it" which I don't understand
