She was pretty awful, hit a hell of a lot of unforced errors and I cant recall a winner from her, I expected alot more as it was a favourable match!

Yesterday seemed to go well, with both Naomi and Tara playing good tennis for long periods according to those that saw the streams (I didn't).

I've had a quick look at Emily and Amanda this morning, and as I write Sabrina is 0-6 down.

I'm not sure what I was expecting in terms of standard of play and competitiveness, but from the 2 streams so far it's been quite a surprise. Not necessarily a good one. Both our girls seem to have very decent serves. Once the ball comes back into play, the speed around court, consistency of shot and aggression/attacking intent aren't there as I would have imagined. Lots of shots up the middle, late-to-the-ball shots off-balance (particularly Emily) and unexpected errors. Amanda is holding her own so far, one set up (fingers crossed) with very strong serving, but her opponent is making a LOT of unforced errors, so far hasn't returned serve well, and has a weakish serve herself. Once into rallies, its advantage opponent on most occasions. I'm more interested in how they win/lose, rather than just the result.

Hope it picks up later...should be some great matches to enjoy

Problems with pictures for Mandy's match, but she lost 2nd set I think 6-2, and was 1-1 40-0 in third before being pegged back to deuce before pictures lost again.
