Seems strange to be on clay at this point, is this a trend, were previous USA futures on clay?

No, the last few US Futures were 15Ks on hard - that's why the draw here is so much weaker than it was in Mansfield, Texas last week and no doubt what there has been a complete change in the Brits taking part as well.

Bourgue is 18-year-old who reached a junior career high of 12 last year and upset the no. 2 seed today.

I was thinking that that was Liams Best result for a while. I hadnt realised he hasn'y played a senior event since august.

 Liam was the last DA, guy ranked below on the acceptance list got a WC, and the one below that had to qualify.

Pouille is an ex-top 25 (now top 50) junior who reached a 10K Final in Serbia last month. Bangoura took Boggo to 3 sets in Rochester NY earlier this year.
