Week 38 - Vietnam F5 ($10,000) - Binh Duong - hard

A stronger entry list than last week sees Fitzy seeded 6 places lower and he gets a very tricky draw too:

L32: (7) Andrew Fitzpatrick WR 480 v Junn Mitsuhashi (JPN) WR 648

Mitsuhashi, who was born in London funnily enough (and lists his hobbies as eating and sleeping), has been in the top 300 (CH 295 in 2009) and was out of action for the first 6 months of this year, which has left him under-ranked. Having said that, he hasn't had great results since coming back in July ... until this week, when he has reached the Final, as yet unplayed. The last Brit he played was James Marsalek in India last November, whom he beat in a 3rd set tiebreak.

Should be a good match, but should really be a QF or a SF in a field like this.

I could post a pun or two here, but they've probably all Binh Duong before.

(Sorry)

64 64 loss, played well, he played really well and it was a good standard match. tough draw.

Doesn't look like this imaginative piece of scheduling is working out well cry

Fitzy has been very unlucky with the draws though, especially this week - getting an unseeded player who won the F4 title last week!

Always seems to be the way. When things are going wrong you never seem to to get a lucky break. Fingers crossed for a better draw next week.
