Not sure what I think of that but fair play to him for at least trying something.
That being said, WTF is going on with that sales pitch? I know that he is not trying to win a literary prize but if you are looking for someone to invest in your career it might help to show sufficient professionalism to get someone with a basic knowledge of grammar and sentence structure to proof read your appeal for funds.
ebay is the wrong place for it, as it only allows a single winner.
He'd be much beeter off setting himself up as a Kickstarter (or a site similar) project with a tiered rewards system dependant on the amount of investment.
That way lot's of people can give £1 or more, rather than one person ahving to give £50K or something. Some great things have already been achieved this way.
hi guys, didnt mean to put it up there early with the grammar in the way it is. i have revised it and put it up how i want. Just a different option. Im 3rd round on tomorrow Vs a korean qualifier. Tough conditions out here with the heat but should be good.
Good luck with the Ebay thing too, but it does leave me a bit confused as it stands. That doesn't matter in itself (and I'm more easily confused than most LOL), but it might put people off bidding, which does matter. It doesn't say what exactly people are buying - you mention a % of prize money, but no more than that. If the idea is to get people to contact you and then to discuss it with them, then no problem - but if so, I hope you have set a high reserve so you don't end up forced to sell yourself for £ 14.50 or whatever the top bid is now. (I have no idea how the Ebay rules work though)
Also, I doubt people expect tennis players to be able to write mistake-free English (tennis is the thing you are good at, after all), but I doubt it makes the best impression written and formatted as it is, so if you'd like a proof-read/corrected version, feel free to pm me and I'll send one right back.
I'd be more than happy to RT your tweet about the Ebay auction to my followers (1000+ tennis fans, including plenty of journos) but haven't done it yet in case (for the reasons mentioned above) this turns out not to be the final version.

Totally ridiculous scenes. How can someone with Fitzys talent be struggling for funding in a country with our financial wealth.
How about getting a petition going? Surely with Stevens connections and reposting across other forums we have a chance of getting the LTA to pull their fingers out. Its very disheartening to any supporter and I'm sure those of us without enough money to help would feel better at least doing something.
scraping the barrel with that one i think! i think this guy is a dangerous floater in the draw from what ive seen so far, definitely under ranked. We might as well be playing on clay courts with these balls we have. They go dead after a few games and like bullets so it becomes very difficult to control the ball and serve. The way forward i found is to kick serves in and make sure you cover everything that you hit otherwise your going to hit the fence. Thus is leads you into physical territory as no one can really hit winners. Well you can but its a massively low percentage shot.
Was seriously hot when i was playing earlier and since i came off it hasnt stopped raining! They have indoor courts here 4, but only with a roof so it if rains the rain blows in from the sides onto the courts, with holes in the roof as well they might as well be outside. Hense why we got rained off for all of tomorrow. See what i can do tomorrow. Andy murray is a legend.

i think getting actual sponsorship is pretty hard for tennis players, as opposed to access to facilities etc, which is easier.
unfortunately the lack of exspoure lower ranked players get means it can be harder to get comanpies on board, compared with supporting a local sporting team who are based in one area etc.
