Bacsinszky is still working her way back from a serious foot injury, but was WR37 at her best, and a force on clay back then, in ~2009-10.
Timea is actually ranked higher than Naomi in this years race (273 vs 251)
In short, the way Naomi's been playing recently, I don't give her much chance I'm afraid.

Always hoping to eat humble pie though, and will be delighted to do so.

I'm not sure where this town is in France, but if she still semi trains at the Morataglou (or however you spell it) academy then maybe it's convenient?

I've been to Mont-de-Marsan - it's a small town in the deep south-west halfway between Bordeaux and the Pyrenees, best known for its bullring and not convenient for anywhere LOL

I was meaning more of playing 2 clay events out of the clay season, when she's been struggling for form.
