Week 36 - Challenger ($50,000) - Shanghai (Hard)

Steven, I agree with you re the points James is defending over these 2 weeks.

However, in the Ranking / Stats the top 25 table has only got the Bangkok points coming off at the end of the US Open, presumably linked to the individual breakdown having the Shanghai points ( for tournament starting 05/09/11 ) coming off 17/09/12 rather than 10/09/12, which is also when the ATP site says they should come off.

Anyway, James, just get as many wins and points as you can  smile

Edit :  Bah, I actually see the top 25 table is now right  wink

L32: James Ward WR 248 v (Q) Qualifier

A decent draw for James, who would meet 8th seed Wu Di or Bohli if he wins. Over the two weeks of the USO, he is defending QF points (from Bangkok 2011) and R2 points (from Shanghai 2011), so having gone out in R2 in Thailand, it would be helpful if he could make QFs or better here.

Yes, I noticed that this morning when checking why the Shanghai points weren't due to go on and off at the same time, not sure how the mistake came about.
