So Inglot/Huey get a replay of Wimbledon, too!

Do sometimes have to think how far things have moved in the past five years or so. We would once have been ecstatic/stunned to see a Tour-level draw with four pairs w/Brit interest, 5 Brit players involved. Now it's just another tournament ....

Well done to all who have managed to get things to this state!

It's at times like these that I am glad that I don't really care apart from at Grand Slams.

EDIT: Not because I don't like doubles but because of the joke of "no ad scoring"

And the Brits draw a complete blank in North Carolina disbelief :

R1:  David Marrero & André Sá (ESP/BRA) WR 79 defeated (2) Jonny Marray & Frederik Nielsen (DEN) WR 47 by 6-3 7-6(3)

What a disappointment, to put it mildly! bleh

Yep, a wonderful scoring system evolves and they muck it up for doubles.

Should be as for Slams and Davis Cup, although arguably best of 3 sets as in some ( most ? ) Slams, and I have long felt that you should have final set tiebreakers in all singles and doubles,  i.e. at 6 games all ( one thing the Americans have got right at the US Open !  smile )

Wow, is it only at slam level they don't have it? That's crap!

Yep, Every single ATP, challenger and future event has "no ad scoring" and a "match tie break" in place of a third set. Grand Slams and Davis Cup seem to be the only time that the game is still played properly.
