Great news that Corrie got into the quarter without the Brit in it. Hoping for a Goodall v Fitzy and Evo v Corrie SF

23 Brits in the draw, that must be some sort of record!

I was wondering about that too. I think we had another 23 earlier this year, but I can't remember there ever being more than that.

It's almost (but not quite as extreme as ...) South American to have a draw dominated quite that much by the same country.

There where 22 in Tipton back in March but can't find a draw with 23. Perhaps more importantly we have 6 seeds this week so hopefully one of them can come away with the title, since Torebko won Tipton.

There were 22 Brits (including 6 seeds) in the main draw as recently as a couple of weeks ago in Manchester too ... and Olivetti won that. However, there were 22 Brits (5 seeds) in the main draws in Ilkley and Roehampton last year, with Josh winning both.

I must have been remembering Nottingham last September, when there were 23 Brits in the main draw - we had the middle 6 seeds, all 4 semi-finalists and Bloomers won. However, I had forgotten that there were 24 Brits in the main draw in Wrexham last August, when we had 6 seeds and Josh won.

To be honest it seems like the 3 weeks of grass court futures have been a farce. Manchester was played on synthetic clay, Ilkley was most played indoors and this event appears to be on very poor quality courts. I can imagine that a fair few players will be more than a little frustrated by how things have gone.
