Week 25 - Spain F17 ($10,000) - Melilla (Hard)

I believe Hermida has such a high ranking because his opponent retired in the first qualifying round for Madrid Masters.

Edit: Just checked, and it was Starace who retired in the first set.

Like Ceuta, this Futures event held in a small Spanish exclave on the Moroccan coast tends to be weaker than most Spanish Futures.

L32: James Feaver WR 826 v Ádam Sanjurjo Hermida (ESP) WR 796

The Spaniard is only 17 (and like many good Spaniards, doesn't tend to play that many junior events), so a tricky match, I would have thought.
