Yet another partner - & a tough draw!

R1:  Jonathan Erlich & Andy Ram (ISR/ISR) vs Daniele Bracciali (ITA) & Jamie Murray

Their ranking would not be good enough, they have made the cut for Roland Garros next week though.

Good result for Jamie & Daniele:

R1:  Jonathan Erlich & Andy Ram (ISR/ISR) lost to Daniele Bracciali (ITA) & Jamie Murray by 5-7 6-2 [10-12] biggrin

*****

But they're unlikely to go any farther:

QF:  (1) Bob Bryan & Mike Bryan (USA/USA) vs Daniele Bracciali (ITA) & Jamie Murray bleh

Yes, who is this Inglot dude? I was looking through the doubles race rankings today and saw that he's by the Murrays. I've not heard his name mentioned for Davis cup etc though.

Wondered that myself when I saw the draw, Spectator, & also wondered, when I saw the result of TCH's & Moser's match, whether he & Dom could actually have beaten the fourth seeds, had they been playing together.  Sincerely hope Dom's not injured.  Could simply have been a ranking thing to get into the draw, but I'm just guessing...

Ah!  Wolfie posted along not so dissimilar lines while I was posting!  Delighted to hear that Dom & TCH will be gracing Roland-Garros!

Helen, use the search function to look for posts about Inglot. You can learn all about him, his stint in US College, his film career, his short but promising singles career and his doubles exploits. We'll test you tomorrow.
