TennisScotland have just tweeted that they are playing indoors today.

There's a big French invasion at the top of the entry list for this one which will make it hard for the Brits to repeat last week's success.

I used to watch this tournament for last 8 years but not going now the standard has dropped gone are the days that a young Gail Monfills graced these courts. The standard in the womens event last few years was dreadful

A bit surprising that they are playing indoors. It is sunny but bitterly cold. Forcast is for a dry week with temperatures barely getting into double figures for the beginning of the week. I wonder if there is a minimum temperature for professional outdoor play. No umpires in Qualies so it is probably down to player preferance. The adjacent indoor courts are all too easy to switch matches on to. With little clay play at Bournmouth it looks like a very short domestic clay season!

just got back from playing rugby and has been dry all day but a bit windy maybe that is why they are playing indoors. In case anyone is interested my team biggar beat a touring side bracknal 21-15. always good banter when touring teams come unfortunatly they wern't as p****d as we expected them to be.
