English Tennis Funding Cut

Sport England, the government-backed development agency, said in a statement on Tuesday that Britain's tennis body had agreed to accept a reduction of 530,000 pounds in the light of disappointing participation figures.

Not like Roger the Dodger not to have too much to say.

I guess that Sport England have looked at this independantly and fairly as opposed to the spin that tends to come out from the LTA.

Very disappointing.

no doubt they'll be selling off more of the parks' tennis courts and doubling the hourly cost to play.  I'm thinking of selling my tennis racket and taking up football
