6 Brits in qualifying and the good news is that they include the 3 of the top 4 seeds!

QR1: Sean Thornley WR 604 v Ty Trombetta (USA) WR 792

QR1: (q4) Chris Eaton WR 390 v Takanyi Garanganga (ZIM) WR 650

The winner of Sean's match plays the winner of Alex's match in R2 but all four GB seeds are in different sections.

I know it's late but this should be week 14 and it looks as though we only have the top 2 seeds rather than top 3! wink

Maybe not that crap SC, Boggo needed a 3rd set TB to beat him on indoor courts after all. From Alex's perspective this 1ts rd looks like the toughest match of his section for him.

maybe steven meant 3 of the top 4 seeds.

lots of brits here though.

No idea why I wrote "top 3" here - especially when I had just written "6 Brits in qualies here, including 3 of the top 4 seeds!" on twitter. ashamed I think I may have been going to write "3 of those seeded to qualify" here and got mixed up. ashamed

The boys traded breaks at the start of the second set:  Chris broken to 30 in the second game, but immediately breaks back to 30 in the third:  *1-2.
