Week 12 Futures - UAE F1 ($10,000) - Fujairah - Hard

One of Fitzy's old doubles partners (in Kashiwa last year) Gregory Howe is trying to win a Futures match is his 40s (he turned 40 in November) today against a player less than half his age. He is in a qualifying section which has no ranked players in it but it could be tough because Song has won a lot of matches despite never quite getting a ranking point and, for example, took 7 games off Neal Skupski in the 4th and final qualifying round of Costa Mesa Futures last September. Good luck to Greg anyway!

Meant to add, James Marsalek should be seeded in the main draw here.

Ouch! Some of the worst (best) puns in a while here. Good to see that Mr Howe is still playing, even if this wasn't a successful foray.

QF: (6) James Marsalek WR 686 v (Q) Gabor Csonka (HUN) WR 1606

Csonka may only have one ranking point but this is only his 4th Futures and his first for 9 months ... and he took out the 3rd seed 4 & 1 today.
