A decent R1 draw (and R2 doesn't look too bad either), but Dan would probably have preferred not to have been in the same quarter as top seed Polansky, who lost just 18 games in 5 matches on his way to the title last week.

Dan is 6-4 5-2 up against Peliwo, who is world junior no. 5, so could have been a bit of a banana skin

A rematch of last week's Final next - but 2 rounds and (if Polansky proves to be as unbeatable as last week) 12 points earlier

QF: (5) Dan Cox WR 394 v (1) Peter Polansky (CAN) WR 266 (CH 164 in 2009)

The Canadian has not gone close to dropping a set in his 7 singles matches in Texas this year.

Pity Dan couldn't have manged to avoid Polansky until the final 2 weeks in a row, but at least he did last week and got good points.
