I was beginning to think you'd given up lad! Glad to see you found a way to keep competing...

Emily W-S on Pingguo: "if you'd ever been to pingguo you'd know why!!" (why none of the Brits have made the trip this year, she means!)

It seems to be known as "Aluminium City" because it's the centre of China's aluminium production industry, so probably not exactly a tourist trap!

Having said that, we are holding a Futures in Tipton this week. I'll say no more! wink

Come to think of it, I'm quite surprised that Chris didn't go to Taverne in Switzerland, where he would have been the defending champion. Also thinking that if he was down for Sarajevo Q, it's probably because he and Dom wanted to play doubles there, so they may go and do that and just give singles a miss.

Just noticed that at the Pingguo Challenger, the qualifying draw contains just 7 players with 3 players outside the top 1000 certain to qualify! doh

This is where Flembo qualified and reached the QFs last year, when there were 32 players in qualifying with Colin the top seed and Jamie B (then ranked 404) the 8th seed.

A pity no Brits went along this year!

Yeah, but if any of our boys planned on entering there, they'd probably have made it in as DA's no?

Yes, thus even more reason to enter! (apart from the conditions and cost of getting there, obviously)

Seagull, I do think you are a bit over-pessimistic not having Andy down as in the second week of Indian Wells, as he doesn't even start playing until this weekend. Yes, I know he went out in the first round last year, but still. . .
