Week 8 - ATP 250 series (€512,750) - Open 13, Marseille (indoor hard) - doubles

Well, whaddya know?  A sniff of a chance to sneak into an ATP event & Dustin bloody Brown deserts Jonny M for JWT (they play Marx & Moser in the first round)...

R1:  (WC) Pierre-Hugues Herbert ( disbelief ) & Nicolas Renavand (FRA/FRA) vs Jamie Delgado & Ken Skupski

R1:  (WC) David Guez & Florent Serra (FRA/FRA) vs (2) Paul Hanley (AUS) & Jamie Murray

The winners of those two matches face one another in the QF... disbelief

Too busy with a meeting & other work to follow the match this afternoon.   Well done, lads!    Already half the number of points in the bag that they won for taking the title in Bergamo last week in a quarter of the number of matches! wink  No question of divided loyalties for the QF, either. smile  Let's see you do for the next lot of Froggies...

First regular tour win for Delgado since July 2008 (although he has won 6 Grand Slam matches in that period).

Delgado/Skupski missed a break point in the 6th game, but broke in the 8th game and Ken served out the set to love 6-3.
