Yes, someone who works for/with the tournament seems to have said that on TF. Not a huge surprise given that she seemed to be feeling the exertions of the last few days a bit and the travel situation over the last couple of days.

The top seed in qualifying pulled out (or more likely was bumped up to the main draw when Bally withdrew), so in the FQR, Samantha will play an opponent ranked around 500 or a QWC making her ITF debut, both of whom only had to beat unranked alternates in QR1.

Good stuff all round.  Hope Sam can now take advantage of what looks a very good break and qualify for the main draw.
