Yes, it's more Australia that has taken out the more likely 25K candidates, certainly these that would have made the main draw.
It's a pity for the Sunderland tournament, but there are 25Ks for five successive weeks down under.
I think it is thus understandable that Emily, Mel and Anna are down there for the first. Competing in Sunderland would have taken out the first, and effectively the second too, if they lasted towards the weekend.
I see Tara is entered for next week in Australia. Particularly assuming reserves can't come in once the competition has started, I take it that she will be given early release from her Fed Cup duties.
Sam Murray withdrew from this, and has apparently been ill recently, and I see Lucy Brown, who hasn't appeared yet this year, was a late withdrawal.

Tara didn't go to Israel as she has a foot problem so presumably her Fed Cup dities are already over. Don't know whether that will stop her from entering the Australian tournament.
I hope Bet365 have the score the right way round Georgia 6-0 *1-0
If you look at Carolina's activity on ITF http://www.itftennis.com/womens/players/activity.asp?player=100122217 she's been having a tough time recently, so there's a good chance they do have it the right way round. She could be a bit ill today too, for all we know. Even if there is a reason, it's an impressively ruthless performance by Georgia to win the first 10 games of the match!
Assuming no more than one deuce in each game, the score at 6-0 4-0* was about 40-15 (in actual points won!)
