DAs for Goodall, Evans, Ward, Eaton, Cox, Bloomfield, Rice, Thornley and Burton. Probably also for Fitzy who was 2nd alt with 2 SEs to clear. Looks like wilds cards for Morgan, Gabb and Hudson.

Qualifying draw again fails to attract a full field, this week just 42 entries. 2 Brits are certain to come through.

Couldn't actually attend today but bumped into 3 or 4 competitors in the adjacent Tescos filling up in the cafe before their QR2 matches. Working all week as well so hopefully british interest remains next Saturday and I'll be able to go along.

3 Brits certain to come through qualifying. In the final round Bugby plays Jathan Malik, Jones plays Thornton-Brown and Tutu plays McGrath. Also in the final round we have Joseph Gill, Jordan McCulloch and Scott Whitbread but they all play top 1,000 players.

Tutu was the British star of the day beating 8th seed Kevin Farin (BEL) 6-1, 6-1

 From Cheshire according to his LTA profile. Presumably has Scottish ancestry.

Fitzy did get in as a DA as did Morgan. Wild cards went to Gabb and Hudson as expected plus Scott Clayton and Harry Meehan. 4 Brits came through qualifying; Tutu, Malik, Jones and Whitbread. This gives us 19 Brits in the main draw.
