That's pretty impressive from Jack! Was Delic not one of Geroge Morgan's junior grand slam partners last year?

Close but not quite. George played with Mate Pavic at the Aussie Open, Roland Garros and Wimbledon.

I knew it was one of his "mates"! Is Delic not a contemporary of theirs as well?

I didn't think Jack was going to beat Horansky (former world junior no. 3 who beat Liam and Oli in QFs & SFs at the Canadian Open last year then lost to Oli in 3 sets in the USO junior QFs), let alone thrash him!

Yes, George had a couple of ding-dongs with him in Grand Slams last year on the opposite rather than same side of the net. George won in Melbourne after Delic was penalised for cramp treatment, but Mate gained revenge in Paris. Delic is a tall guy with a big serve described by Judy Murray as "a cross between Ivo Karlovic and Juan Martin Del Potro. Tall and thin with flat as a pancake groundstrokes. "

Horansky got most of his ranking points in the first half of 2011 and hasn't won a main draw singles match in his last few tournaments, but nevertheless Jack's scoreline is stunning.

Anyone know what the story is with Jack. He hasn't played in the UK since Sept 2010.
