Oli is a DA here, so he will have one last chance to nick the year-end top GB teenager in the ATP rankings spot from Lewis Burton - he will need to reach the semis to overtake him though and the QFs to tie Liam's points total for 2nd place in that mini-contest.

Bexon defeated Venizelos by 3 & 5, while Wainright lost to Shevkedov by 2 & 1.

A good start for Darren in his FQR match, winning the 1st set 6-3, but it has all gone horribly wrong since then - he lost the 2nd set by the same score and is now *0-4 down in the 3rd

L32:  Oliver Golding WR 688 vs Sébastien Boltz (FRA) WR 724

Let's hope the Frog doesn't come like a Boltz from the (red, white &) blue... wink

L32: Oliver Golding WR 688 (eventually - he led by 4-0 & had MPs for 6-2, but couldn't convert them!) defeated Sébastien Boltz (FRA) WR 724 by 6-3 1-6 6-3

 I was able to see the last 2 games of Oli's match, and the 8th game with 3 matchpoints was rather frustrating. It was a case of aggressive play to set up each matchpoint and then a passive return to allow Boltz an immediate winner on the matchpoints.

Good chance of a quarter-final for Oli though.

Some of the information being displayed wasn't correct this morning, such as which court Oli was on and the right court was showing the score off another court , but it wasn't hard to find the correct court and score
