I see both Nottingham events downgraded for the women at the start of June.
Hmm, last year they had a 75K + H ( in second week of the French open ) followed by a 100K + H ( in the same week as the Birmingham WTA event )
There was a lot of discussion on here about this at the time and the merits of the double week, particularly with the 100K + H in the same week as Birmingham.
I thought it worked pretty well actually, though looking back I don't think the field overall was really much better if at all for the 100K + H, compared to the 75K + H, but still pretty good and higher ranked top seeds.
Now are going to have a 75K followed by a 50K, so the higher value tournament in the first week.

Ah right they've stuck with the 75k but without the H and halved the prize money for the 100k + H event. I remember talking to some of the organising staff last year and they said they would review the 2 tournament back to back schedule for 2012. There were a number of issues last year, mainly the fact that the practice courts were a 20 minute walk away and not in particularly good nick.( they were trying to protect the match courts as much as possible because they were needed 2 weeks back to back )The match courts just about survived 2 weeks of tennis back to back. The main reason for holding two big grass court events simultaneously was to attract a greater number of eastern european players who would usually have avoided the whole grass court season apart from Wimby.
