I've amended the first post because although Statham is next to Toby in the draw, he's playing in the previous match. Quite lucky really, given that Statham beat Toby 1 & 4 earlier this month!

L32: Richard Gabb WR 978 beat (Q) G D Jones (NZL) WR 1525 by 1 & 5

That'll mean another career high for Richard on 7 Nov.

A bit of luck too - both of the seeds who were originally in the top quarter have pulled out (though unfortunately not late enough to avoid the next two in line being moved up into the seeding places!) so having been due to play the top seed in R2, Richard will probably get 10th seed John Peers (AUS) WR 600, Sally's elder brother, who finished college in the US this year.

Toby was due to play Scott Robertson, however, Scott  is the fifth withdrawal from the main draw so I guess they're now trying to find yet another Lucky Loser to fill the draw.

Both the drawsheet on the ATP site and the ITF site say that Statham won. He also appears on tomorrow's OOP which I seriously doubt would be wrong.

Richard & Toby gave the fourth seeds a run for their money, only just losing out by 5-7 7-6(6) [7-10]! cry

Yes, so I see. Given that Lisa herself said the Tennis Australia twitter got her result wrong today, I'm sure the drawsheets are right and the tweeter was having a rare off day!

Let's hope the tweeter messed up again, but somehow I doubt it ...

L16: Richard Gabb WR 978 lost to (10) John Peers (AUS) WR 600 by 7-6(9) 6-0
L16: Toby Martin WR 1061 lost to Jose Statham (NZ) WR 607 by 4 & 2
